March 25th 2016. Crystalline shine!

“Sun, sun, sun, here it comes.” The trees look like they’re made of crystal. After a bad ice storm with a fair bit of damage all around our yard, it was such a relief, albeit shortlived, to see the sun finally emerge late afternoon and shine its brilliant light all over. Such a metaphor for life, really. Life can pound down rain all over you, freeze you out, tear you limb from limb, but The Light will eventually still reach you. This song is always so comforting. I’ll play it for my trees. “Little darling, it’s been a long cold lonely winter. Little darling, it feels like years since it’s been here. Here comes the sun, here comes the sun, and I say it’s all right.” With love, light, and song… ~Melissa~
